I am fighting Hermes Franca on Saturday February 7th in Tampa, Florida at the USF Sun Dome. I believe it is going to be an Ultimate Fight Night card on Spike TV.

Hermes is a VERY dangerous opponent and has:

  • Fought Sean Sherk for the UFC Lightweght Title losing a 5 round decision
  • A record of 9-4 in the UFC/WEC, 20-7 as a Pro… all his losses coming by Decision
  • Coming off a win over Marcus Aurelio and has wins over TUF5 Winner Nate Diaz, WEC Champ Jamie Varner, IFL Champ Ryan Schultz, TUF5 fighter and Former WEC Champ Gabe Ruediger and Spencer Fisher.

    Hermes is VERY heavy handed to complement his black belt in Jiu-Jitsu and is always dangerous. I was given a few different fight options, but thought the fight with Hermes would be the most challenging and most exciting.
